Below are some of our success stories where our people have made the difference.
Car Dealership - We saved a car dealership with over 80 employees over $250,000 the first year by moving them to a deductible reimbursement plan that also saved the employees money and gave them complete freedom to see any doctor they wanted. After one year on the DRP the renewal was only 5%.
Nonprofit Company - We saved a non profit employer with 400 employees over $500,000 by negotiating with several carriers for the best program. This allowed the company to retain the high level of benefits without increasing the employee contributions. This help the client during a very difficult time financially.
Municipality - We recently took over the negotiations and service of a prominent municipality. We won the account through our flat fee program that fixes our fees based on the work and not on the amount of premiums and through our extensive services. During the renewal we were able to implement new programs that can potentially save the village over $200,000 in the next year. This was accomplished without reducing the benefits or increasing the contributions. We handled all the employee meetings and are now the primary contact for all insurance questions with will allow the village's human resource department to focus on other issues integral to running the village.
Manufacturing - Early in 2002, we took over as broker of record for a manufacturing company. With our flat fee program we saved them $35,000 which meant there was NO increase in insurance premiums when most companies' premiums were increasing 15% to 20%. At the same time we took over all the ongoing and future claim issues. We do a quarterly analysis of claims to help the company budget future insurance costs. In addition, we market all the policies annually to explore competitive alternatives and propose new benefits.
Technology Company - This Company was a part of a much larger company at one time. Last year we became involved they were self-funded with an insurance company and it was costing them more and more each month. They had tried to move to BC/BS the year before but were declined. We were able to use our contacts within BC/BS to secure a competitive quote and were able to move them mid-year for a substantial savings.This year we were able to consolidate their ancillary lines of coverage (life, disability and dental) for a multiple year rate guarantee, a savings in the premiums and a dramatic increase in the service.
